We now have a filing cabinet of our own to store the anime library in!<br /><br />It was obtained for free from the furniture waste store on Friday. None of the filing cabinets come with keys, but I found one where the key had been broken off in the lock. I managed to pry it out, and I think we can get a new one cut from it.<br /><br />All we need is to clean the cabinet and get the new key cut, and we're in business!<br /><br />A special thanks to Mike(dragoneyez) as well as Nathan Mackie for helping me haul the cabinet across campus.<br /><br />Borrowing from the library is expected to start at the beginning of semester 2. I hope to use the holidays to construct a library database, and will discuss the finer points of borrowing with El-Presidente.

There is already a library database set up, which I believe has been updated to contain all the current titles. Unless it has been removed for some reason, you should be able to modify it to your needs.<br /><br />I could be wrong as I no longer have any control of the website or anything else in these parts anymore, I gave that up a couple of years ago now :p

I was originally considering integrating a similar system back when I redid the Library. Yes it would need a little rework, but not a lot. It would basically require some additional tables to be added to hold the additional information and constraints on the tables.<br /><br />If my assistance is required at all then feel free to get in contact with me about it.

Nah Annie, your work wouldn't go to waste.<br /><br />There's no reason why it would need a massive alteration, some more tables sure, but a total redesign.... nah.<br /><br />Think creative people, Creative

That said the library as you and I remember it no longer exists, so all your work is now gone. Mine on the other hand is still there. Sorry.

Library Update:<br /><br />1. We have made our first loans from the official library. Due to my computer being in a non-working condition, I had to take details down using pen-and-paper. This system will remain in place until further notice.<br /><br />2. Keep in mind that the full contents of the library still hasn't been properly published anywhere (especially on the lunasy.org website). I finally got around to getting the filing cabinet key cut... and it works! So we now have our own lockable storage container! No more will I have to bother the poor guy whose name I cannot remember in that office so I can access the DVDs in his filing cabinet. We have our own!
